Meet Vicki
I’m Vicki, a Sunshine Coast-based birth and motherhood photographer with a heart full of love for family life. As a proud mother, wife, nanna, sister, aunty, and great-aunt, I cherish the joy and beauty of a big, growing tribe. Beyond photography, my passions extend to travel, nature, animals, and creative pursuits like sewing and knitting.
My love for photography began with a simple gift—a camera I received in primary school. From that moment, capturing fleeting, emotional moments became a fascination that stayed with me. However, during the births of my three sons, birth photography wasn’t common, leaving me with a heartfelt regret of not preserving those awe-inspiring moments.
Life has a way of bringing things full circle. My passion for birth photography was ignited when I supported my son and daughter-in-law during the birth of my first granddaughter. While studying photography at the time, I was honoured to document this transformative event. The experience of waiting together in Melbourne for her arrival at 42 weeks solidified my calling to capture the raw beauty and immense emotion of birth stories.

With a background in nursing, I bring a unique awareness of the hospital environment, seamlessly blending into the birthing space with respect and care. My clients describe me as calm, nurturing, and observant—qualities that I carry into every birth and postpartum space I enter.
As a birth photographer, my role is to be an unobtrusive witness, capturing the rawness, vulnerability, and beauty of your journey. Each photograph is a delicate and thoughtful preservation of your story, presented as cherished memories to treasure for a lifetime.

My approach is centred on preserving the miracle of life through the artistry of my lens.
